When I started visiting Florida as a kid, I knew it was a special place. The sandy beaches, thrilling theme parks, and warm sunshine filled my vacations with excitement and joy. My Backstory
I grew up in New Jersey, where I spent most of my life. The vibrant seasons and close-knit community shaped who I am.
I love New Jersey, but the weather was one thing that I was not a fan of.
Jersey weather was not always fun. There can be some cold winters, the type of cold where you can’t even feel your legs. For real, I am not even exaggerating on this one.
My Passion For The Sunshine State
When I took my first trip to Florida as a kid, it was like stepping into a dream. The sunshine, the palm trees, and the beautiful beaches completely enchanted me.
The theme parks in Florida were like theme parks I hadn’t experienced before. Don’t get me wrong; we had Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, but the theming in Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort was just on another level.
That moment ignited a passion for this incredible state, and I knew I would always be drawn back to its warmth when I got older.
Fast forward to today, and I’m thrilled to call Florida home alongside my beautiful wife! This is where Explore Sunshine State comes into the picture, and let me tell you, it’s an adventure in the making!
